Tiger Shroff firing case: Mumbai celebrity football club suspends Sunday sessions over security
After shots were fired at Tiger Shroff's car in Juhu on 18 October, the All Stars Football Club has put its Sunday matches on hold until stronger security is in place. What we know about the case so far.
IllustrationThe firing at Tiger Shroff's car is now changing how Bollywood spends its Sundays. The All Stars Football Club, whose games regularly feature film stars, has suspended its Sunday sessions in Mumbai until new security arrangements are in place.
What happened
- Date: 18 October 2026
- Place: near Pushpa Park in Juhu, as Tiger returned from football
- Injuries: Tiger escaped unhurt. An autorickshaw driver was injured and taken to Cooper Hospital.
- Arrests: three suspects were reportedly arrested in Kota the next day and were to be handed to Mumbai Police.
The club's decision
Founder Bunty Walia cancelled the 25 October session and put future games on hold. Asked about it, he said the pause would last until security protocols are in place, according to Filmibeat. The club says it will consult the authorities before restarting.
Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan are among the stars linked to the club.
What police and reports say
- The accused reportedly scouted the location beforehand.
- The Indian Express reported that the shooters first watched Aamir Khan's home several times, then switched to Tiger because his Sunday football routine made him easier to reach.
- The investigation is ongoing, and police have not announced charges in detail.
Why it matters
Predictable public routines, like a weekly match at a known ground, are now being reviewed by stars and their teams. Expect tighter security around film sets, events and promotions in Mumbai in the coming weeks.
