The invitation
The card, inspired by Baroque design, comes in an ivory and powder-blue keepsake box with embossed stationery and a vintage-style crest seal. It was designed by Ranjani Iyengar of Pink Whistle Man, who described the project as the most wholesome experience.
The families' invitation rounds
Kavya's parents, Kalanithi and Kavery Maran, have reportedly been meeting leaders in Chennai, Hyderabad and New Delhi in person to deliver invitations. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has reportedly confirmed the reception details.
Why fans are excited
Anirudh is one of India's most in-demand composers, behind hits for Rajinikanth, Vijay and Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. Kavya Maran is the familiar face of Sunrisers Hyderabad at IPL matches. Rumours about the couple circulated for years before the wedding news.
