A reunion of old friends, one New Year's Eve, and everything that can go wrong does. That is the pitch for Party Animals, whose trailer is out ahead of its theatrical release on Friday, 20 November 2026. The comedy stars creator-turned-actor Viraj Ghelani as Mann Patel and Arjun Tanwar as Armaan Khanna. Directed by Ravi Chhabriya and produced by Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar under Yoodlee Films, Saregama's film banner, it is written by Ali Haji, Khush Mullick and Veer Panchal. The story A friends' reunion on New Year's Eve spirals out of control. The trailer throws in cops, goons, a party bus, romantic mix-ups, petty fights and a drunk horse, with every attempt to fix one problem creating another. Ghelani has described it as the kind of madness that is hard to explain but a lot of fun to experience. Co-star Naqiyah Haji has called it a desi version of The Hangover meets 21 Jump Street. The cast Alongside the two leads are Pragati Nagpal, Naqiyah Haji, Alam Khan, Saqib Ayub, Kamlesh Sawant, Anil Charanjeett, Aaron Koul, Vijay Patkar and Manoj Joshi. Why it is one to watch Party Animals is a test of whether a cast built around internet-famous faces can pull a young audience into cinemas. Ghelani is one of India's best-known content creators, and the film's ensemble leans heavily on that crowd. The film releases only in cinemas. No streaming plans have been announced.
