Akka is bringing a new world of rivalry to Netflix on October 30. Yash Raj Films' official announcement introduces Keerthy Suresh as Bhawani and Radhika Apte as Rudra, placing two powerful women at the centre of Pernuru's struggle for control. Produced by YRF Entertainment, the gangster series is written and directed by Dharmaraj Shetty in his directorial debut. Its setting draws on an imagined 1980s kingdom shaped by generations of women.
