Why Back to Black still matters
Released in October 2006, Back to Black was the last album Winehouse released before her death in 2011. Songs like Rehab, You Know I'm No Good and the title track brought a retro soul sound back into the mainstream and influenced a generation of singers who followed.
For new listeners, the live Paradiso set may be the highlight: it captures Winehouse at the height of her powers, singing the album's songs in front of a crowd.
