Subha Rajput is an Indian television and web actress and model from Samba, Jammu and Kashmir. She is best known for playing Priyanka Singh Oberoi in the StarPlus hit Ishqbaaaz and Goddess Parvati (Shakti) in the Colors mythological drama Shiv Shakti - Tap Tyaag Taandav. Born Subha Sambyal in 1993, she has said her parents named her Subha because she was born in the morning. She wanted to act from childhood, trained as a dancer, and started out with theatre and modelling assignments in Delhi and Mumbai before moving into television. Breakthrough: Ishqbaaaz Subha made her television debut in 2016 with Ishqbaaaz, Gul Khan's romantic drama on StarPlus starring Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna and Kunal Jaisingh. As Priyanka Singh Oberoi, the beloved younger sister of the Oberoi brothers, she became a familiar face across Indian households over the show's run. Web Series & Films In 2019 she played the female lead in the web series Pyar Ishq Rent opposite Vibhav Roy, with Saurabh Dhingra (Essdee) as Kshitij. She has also appeared in episodes of the crime anthology Bang Baang - The Sound of Crimes (ZEE5 / ALTBalaji), the film Comedy Couple and the short film Indu Aur Woh Chithi. Shiv Shakti - Tap Tyaag Taandav In 2023 Subha returned to television in one of her biggest roles, playing Parvati, the reincarnation of Adishakti, opposite Ram Yashvardhan's Lord Shiv in Colors' mythological magnum opus Shiv Shakti - Tap Tyaag Taandav. Fashion & Brands Subha was the showstopper for Maatiz Studio at Couture Runway Week 2021, and has featured in campaigns for Myntra (Be Unskippable) and Sprite, as well as in The Ciin magazine. With over 350K followers on Instagram, she shares fashion, beauty, travel and behind-the-scenes content with her fans.
