About me
Essdee Music India is an independent Indian record label founded by actor, singer and director Saurabh Dhingra, known as Essdee. The label writes, produces, shoots and releases original Hindi and Punjabi music in-house, from the first lyric to the finished music video, and distributes it worldwide on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, JioSaavn and every major streaming platform. The label is built around a simple idea: independent artists should own their sound and their story. Essdee Music India pairs its own releases with music for other artists, and backs every song with a full cinematic music video produced by its sister production house, Essdee Entertainment. Landmark Releases Barsaatein (2025) is the label's biggest release so far. The monsoon love song features actress Payal Rajput alongside Essdee, with female vocals by Pratiksha Vashishtha and music production by Anique Music. Its official video has crossed 2.2 million views on YouTube. Breakup - Toote Toote Tare (2023) put the label on the map. Essdee sang the song underwater for the music video, and press coverage reported that it crossed one million YouTube views within 24 hours. Bajadu (2023) is a Hindi rap track featuring Irina Rudakova and Senorita Java, written, composed and sung by Essdee.
