Planning your 2027 festival calendar? Several of the world's biggest music festivals have already locked in their dates, including Glastonbury's long-awaited return after its 2026 fallow year.
Here are the confirmed dates for the biggest music festivals of 2027, plus what we know about tickets and lineups.
2027 festival dates at a glance
23 to 24 January 2027: Lollapalooza India, Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai
9 to 11 April and 16 to 18 April 2027: Coachella, Empire Polo Club, Indio, California
23 to 27 June 2027: Glastonbury Festival, Worthy Farm, Somerset, UK
Lollapalooza India 2027
The year's festival season starts in Mumbai. Lollapalooza India returns for its fifth edition on 23 and 24 January 2027 at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, with four stages and more than 20 hours of music. The 2026 edition, headlined by Linkin Park, drew the festival's biggest crowd yet, and nearly two in three attendees travelled from outside Mumbai. BookMyShow is the exclusive ticketing partner.
Coachella 2027
Coachella returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, across two weekends: 9 to 11 April and 16 to 18 April 2027. Advance passes went on sale on 1 May 2026 through coachella.com. The 2026 edition was headlined by Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G, who became the first Latina artist to top the Coachella bill. The 2027 lineup has not been announced; recent lineups have been revealed in the autumn before the festival.
Glastonbury 2027
Glastonbury is back. After a fallow year in 2026 to let Worthy Farm rest, the festival returns from Wednesday 23 June to Sunday 27 June 2027. Demand is expected to be enormous after the year off. Glastonbury traditionally announces its first headliners in the spring of the festival year, with the full lineup following closer to June.
What about lineups?
None of these three festivals has announced its full 2027 lineup yet. Expect headliner news for Coachella first, followed by Glastonbury in spring 2027. Be wary of "confirmed lineup" posts on social media before official announcements; many are fan-made.
Tips for festival-goers in 2027
1. Register early. Glastonbury requires advance registration before you can buy a ticket.
2. Use official ticket sellers only. Festival ticket scams spike every year.
3. Use payment plans. Coachella and Glastonbury both offer deposit or instalment options.
4. Book travel and stays early, especially for international trips.
5. Follow official accounts for lineup drops, so you are ready the moment tickets or resale open.
